The sizes marked armpit to armpit and total length are the actual measurements of the jacket measured directly from the garment,. For a good fit we suggest that you measure your chest measurement and compare to the table above or even better measure the sizes of an item of clothing that you already own that fits you well and compare to the actual sizes listed in our sizing table. The armpit to armpit measurement is measured with the garment laid flat and measured just below the seam where the arms meet the body, this is then multiplied x 2 to give the actual circumference, the total length is from the shoulder to the bottom of the garment measured from the front.
